OVERVIEW
TR224 is an industrial-grade cellular IoT router developed by Tespro Electronics, specially designed for data communication between legacy serial field devices and cloud platforms in smart infrastructure scenarios.
Equipped with dual gigabit Ethernet ports, RS232 and dual RS485 serial interfaces, TR224 realizes seamless protocol conversion between Modbus RTU/TCP, serial sensors, PLCs, energy meters and 4G LTE cellular network. It supports public LTE mobile networks as well as operator VPDN private dedicated networks, building stable remote data transmission channels for unattended industrial sites, smart electricity, water supply, environmental monitoring and industrial automation.
Built with full industrial protection design, the router supports wide voltage input, wide temperature operation and strong EMC anti-interference performance, adapting to harsh cabinet and field installation environments. It adopts DIN rail mounting structure, compact size to fit standard electrical control cabinets. Supporting fat/fit dual operation modes, multi-level data encryption, remote device management and offline local data cache, TR224 delivers reliable, secure and low-maintenance long-term networking solutions for edge industrial IoT deployment.
