OVERVIEW

IG355 is a 1U rack-mounted open bare-metal PoE++ edge gateway switch, positioned as an integrated wired & wireless edge convergence hardware for enterprise campuses, smart buildings, security monitoring, industrial IoT and edge computing scenarios.
 
Equipped with 48 multi-rate downlink RJ45 ports (32×1Gbps + 16×2.5Gbps) and 4×25G SFP28 uplink optical ports, all electrical ports fully support IEEE 802.3bt PoE++ standard with maximum 90W single-port power supply, capable of powering Wi-Fi 6/6E high-power APs, PTZ surveillance cameras, industrial IoT terminals and edge computing equipment without external power adapters.
 
The hardware platform adopts Broadcom TD3.X2 high-performance switching chip, delivering 172Gbps non-blocking switching capacity; it is built with Intel Denverton modular x86 multi-core control processor, configurable 4-core/8-core CPU, up to 32GB ECC DDR4 memory and M.2 NVMe high-speed SSD storage. It supports hardware-accelerated 256-bit MACsec link encryption, and optional IEEE1588v2 / SyncE high-precision clock synchronization module to meet industrial and financial timing requirements.
 
For wireless edge access expansion, EG1050 reserves external antenna interfaces to expand Wi-Fi 6/6E and 5G/LTE cellular access, supporting physical SIM and programmable eSIM dual-card design to realize wireless link backup for wired network failures.
 
In terms of reliability design, the device adopts hot-swappable redundant AC power supplies and fixed redundant fan modules, supporting both front-to-back and back-to-front bidirectional air flow configurations to adapt to different computer room heat dissipation architectures. As an OCP-inspired open hardware platform, EG1050 is fully compatible with open-source network operating systems such as SONiC, realizing hardware and software disaggregation, supporting customized edge gateway, enterprise access switching and multi-service converged networking deployment for medium and large enterprises.
